Meeting on ONGC share allotment today

Mumbai , April 11

A MEETING to sort out the issues involved in ONGC share allotment would be held here on Monday, Mr Arun Shourie, Minister for Disinvestment said..

Mr Shourie said the meeting would be attended by officials of Finance Ministry, SEBI, BSE, NSE, merchant bankers and the registrar to the issue. The Minister said the meeting is expected to examine the losses suffered by some investors who sold shares in excess of what they had been allotted.

Meanwhile, a source in MCS, the registrar to the issue, said allotment of ONGC shares has been completed. The refund orders are also being despatched.
