THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The One-Time-Settlement (OTS) scheme being implemented in credit societies under the Department of Cooperatives has been extended until July 31.

Announcing this, an official spokesman said here that those who availed the offer would get complete exemption from payment of interest, penal interest, compounded interest and other incidentals. Those who are not able to pay up the arrears at one go may pay 10 per cent upfront and the rest in 10 equated instalments.
