Dhanalakshmi Bank plans expansion

Kochi , April 5

THRISSUR-based Dhanalakshmi Bank has chalked out an expansion plan, aimed at achieving a business of Rs 10,000 crore by March 2007.

The Bank said in a statement here that it is expanding operations in other States, to achieve its goal of becoming a national bank. The bank intends to open in metros and mini metros with online connectivity in a phased manner.

A hundred ATMs will also come up in other centres. Internet banking and anywhere banking will also become operational soon, the statement said.
