Plantations Industry & Economy - Exports & Imports Campco exports 20 t of cocoa butter Our Bureau
Mangalore , March 25 CENTRAL Arecanut and Cocoa Marketing and Processing Cooperative Ltd (Campco) exported 20 tonnes of cocoa butter to Rockart Enterprises, Monaco, on Wednesday. A press release said here that the container was shipped to Felixstowe Port in England from New Mangalore Port. The total value of the cocoa butter exported is $33,500. Campco, which has a chocolate manufacturing unit in Puttur of Dakshina Kannada district, has already exported a sizeable quantity of cocoa butter and powder to other European countries. Mr B. Nagaraja Shetty, President of Campco, Mr G.R. Krishnadas, Managing Director, Mr P.P. Premanath, Secretary, Mr R. Sridhar, Deputy General Manager, Mr Subrahmanya Bhat, Chief Manager (Production), and Mr Vijaya Kumar, Senior Manager, were present during the shipment of cargo.
