INDIAN Airlines has reduced economy class fares on the domestic leg of its international flights from April 1.

The fares are applicable for travel only on specified domestic sectors for one year from the date of issue of the ticket. No promotional or other discounted fares will be available on these positioning flight fares, according to a press release from Indian Airlines.

Indian Airlines operates international flights from eight stations in the south. The positioning flight fare on the sectors for one-way, normal fare and the flight numbers are:

Chennai-Kochi: Rs 1,250 (normal fare Rs 4,220) flights IC 973/974, IC 975/976, IC 575/576; Chennai-Coimbatore: Rs 1,700 (Rs 2,715) flight IC 975/976; Chennai-Goa: Rs 3,000 (Rs 4,935) flight IC 575/576; Chennai-Hyderabad Rs 1,695 (Rs 4,230) flight IC 979/980; Chennai-Tiruchi: Rs 1,145 (Rs 2,855) flights IC 967/968, 993/994, 995/996; Chennai-Tiruvananthapuram: Rs 1,720 (Rs 4,300) flight IC 967/968; Chennai-Bangalore: Rs 1,065 (Rs 2,655) flight IC 980/979; Chennai-Kozhikode: Rs 1,390 (Rs 3,475) flights IC 921/922, IC 925/926.

Kozhikode-Kochi: Rs 790 (Rs 1,965) flight IC 997/998, IC 595/596; Kozhikode-Goa: Rs 1,495 (Rs 3,730) flight IC 597/598; Kozhikode-Mumbai Rs 2,195 (Rs 3,115) flights IC 595/596, IC 597/598; Kozhikode-Tiruchi: Rs 1,255 (Rs 3,130) flights IC 995/996, 993/994.

Kochi-Coimbatore: Rs 700 (Rs 1,750) flight IC 975/976; Kochi-Mumbai: Rs 2,605 (Rs 3,375) flight IC 595/596.

Bangalore-Hyderabad: Rs 1,250 (Rs 4,295) flights IC 979/980, IC 961/962, IC 977/978, IC 983/984.

Tiruchi-Tiruvananthapuram: Rs 1,090 (Rs 2,725) flights IC 967/968.

Hyderabad-Ahmedabad: Rs 3,500 (Rs 5,975) IC 563/564, IC 981/982.
