TVS Electronics bags Rs 10-cr I-T order

Chennai , March 18

TVS Electronics, one of the largest computer peripheral manufacturers in India, has bagged an order worth Rs 10 crore from the Directorate of Income-Tax Department, Delhi through HP, Bangalore.

The order consists of supplying over 7,000 Dot Matrix Printer's (DMP) and over 8,000 UPS systems (500 VA and LanPro models).

The order has been the single largest so far in 2004 in terms of value and products.

The annual maintenance contract of revenue worth Rs 3.5 crore for the project has also been finalised, says a company release.
