SBT opens another ATM

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has opened its 11th ATM facility in the capital city, the 164th of the bank, at Tirumala junction here.

Announcing this, a spokesman of the public relations department said Mr G. Rama Mohan Rao, General Manager, inaugurated the facility and commissioned the functioning of the branch from new premises at Shalom Towers.

The bank's customers could now avail themselves of the benefit of banking services at more than 3,200 ATMs of the State Bank Group nationwide without attracting additional charges.

The Deputy General Manager, Mr G. Prakash, presided over the inaugural function. Among those who spoke on the occasion were Mr C. Gopinathan Nair, General Secretary, SBT Employees Union, and Mr R. Sreeraj, Secretary of the unit of the Associate Bank Officers' Association. Mr K. N. Murali, Assistant General Manager, welcomed the gathering and Mr D. S. Gopalakrishnan, Branch Manager, proposed a vote of thanks.
