Intrex launches multipurpose e-card

HYDERABAD: Intrex India Ltd, part of the Mumbai-based Essel group, has launched the country's first multipurpose pre-paid card under the brand `ITZ Cash' here on Monday.

In a press release, the company said the card was introduced in Mumbai during September last year. According to the company, ITZ Cash has an innovative payment mechanism available for the consumers. With this card, said to be safe and convenient to transact with, the consumers can shop online, buy Internet connection packages and play online games.

As a part of the strategy to provide value-options to consumers, the company said it has tied up with Rediff.com, Asian Sky Shop, HCL Infinet, Dish TV and Playwin. The pre-paid cards come in denominations of Rs 100, Rs 250, Rs 500, Rs 1,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 7,500.
