Advertising Grey bags Emirates' South Asia account Our Bureau
Mumbai , March 8 GREY Worldwide Mumbai has bagged the Emirates' advertising deal for South Asia from a fray of eight agencies. Elated with the win, Mr Nirvik Singh, Chairman (South Asia), Grey Global Group, said: "We are delighted to have won this account, as it's the first time that networks had to be pitched at a sub-regional level rather than at a country level." Mr Sardar Khan, Manager (Group Advertising - Corporate Communications), Emirates Group, said, "We felt that Grey fulfilled the brief and addressed all our requirements extremely well." Incidentally, the final contenders were Everest and Grey, and the decision awarding the business to Grey was taken two days ago, the company release stated. The business will be handled out of Grey Mumbai, which will function as the centre of excellence and have strong interaction across Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh, the release added.
