ISO certification

HYDERABAD: The CE, R&D Secunderabad, has received the ISO 9001-2000 certification with the Director, ETDC (STQC), Hyderabad, Mr P. Kamaleshwar Rao presenting the certificate to Mr N. Mohapatro, its Chief, at a function on Thursday.

The CE, R&D provides works services to the Research and Development Laboratories/Establishments, including the construction of buildings and roads, water and electricity supply, air-conditioning, etc.

It covers nearly 34 laboratories under the Defence Research and Development Organisation in the Southern States and Pune.

Speaking at the function, Mr Mohapatro said the ISO certification will enhance the efficiency of his organisation to provide better quality control, reduction of cost and time over runs and ensure user satisfaction.
