New Products & Services PediaSure launched in Karnataka Our Bureau
BANGALORE: Abbott Labs has launched its nutritional drink PediaSure in Karnataka for children between 2 and 10 years of age. The "complete balanced drink" is specially designed to meet the nutritional needs of fussy children, according to a release from Abbott. The drink is fortified with 34 nutrients including conditionally essential ones such as taurine and carnitine and suits lactose-intolerant children. It has been formulated as per the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics among others, it said. PediaSure is manufactured at Abbott's manufacturing facilities in the Netherlands and sold in 50 countries. Available in vanilla and chocolate flavours, it is priced Rs 298 for 400 g and Rs 596 for 900 g.
