New Delhi , March 2

POLYESTER manufacturer Indo Rama Synthetics (IRSL) has increased the basic price of polyester staple fibre (PSF) from Rs 64 per kg to Rs 64.50 per kg with effect from March 1.

The company has, however, decided against any revision in prices of 130/34 Partially Oriented Yarn (POY) and the 70/34 Fully Drawn Yarn (FDY). A statement issued by IRSL said that the price of 130/34 POY and 70/34 FDY would remain the same at Rs 73.25 per kg and Rs 86.80 per kg respectively.
