Honda Siel car sales rise

New Delhi , March 1

HONDA Siel Cars India Ltd on Monday said its car sales have jumped by 752 per cent in February 2004, with sales of the new-look City and Accord going strong.

The company sold a total of 2,691 units of its new City, Accord and CR-V models during the month as compared to 316 units sold in February 2003. "Each of our new models launched in 2003 have already established themselves as a benchmark in their respective segments. We are also expanding our market at a very fast pace by venturing into semi-metros and non-metros, which has added to our customer base," Mr Neeraj Garg, Head-Marketing, Honda Siel Cars India Ltd, said.
