Bajaj Auto records higher sales

Mumbai , March 1

Bajaj Auto Ltd on Monday reported a rise of 11 per cent in total sales of two- and three-wheelers to 1,26,678 units for February, against the previous corresponding 1,14,414 units.

According to an official statement, two-wheeler sales rose six per cent to 1,06,558 units (1,00,118 units), while that of motorcycles grew 10 per cent to 84,170 units (76,661 units).

Three-wheeler sales rose 41 per cent to 20,120 units (14,296 units).

Exports were up 83 per cent to 13,831 units (7565 units), the statement said.
