Rice Marketing - Online Marketing Kohinoor basmati to be available on Amazon.com Our Bureau
New Delhi , Feb 25 SATNAM Overseas Ltd, which markets the `Kohinoor' brand of basmati rice and products, has tied up with the leading e-commerce site, Amazon.com, to sell its entire range of food products online. The company will sell its traditional range of one and two kg basmati pouches, rice pilaf and ready to eat products. Amazon will add the product range to its Web site, enabling customers to find product availability and price data, a Satnam press release said here. "Under this tie-up, we will service our clients from our office in New Jersey. The Americans are accustomed to buying online and we will get access to the 30 million active customers of the Web site," said Mr Sunil Kumar, Business Development Executive for the company's US operations. Kohinoor products were already available for sale in the US through several independent Web sites such as freshdirect.com and qualityspices.com, he said.
