CashTech in pact with Korean co

THE Pune-based CashTech Solutions India Pvt Ltd, cash management solution provider, has entered into a strategic alliance with Kookmin Data Systems (KDS), a system integrator in Korea.

Under this agreement, CashTech would resell the banking products from KDS in India. The pact would also enable CashTech to bring technologically mature products from the Korean market to India, Mr R.N. Iyer, Managing Director, CashTech Solutions, said here He said CashTech would bring in the products in the area of CRM (customer relationship management), Treasury and ALM (asset liability management) from the KDS kitty.

KDS has in total about 18 products catering to various segments of which three have been picked up.

He said CashTech would modify these products to suit the Indian requirements and noted that at a later date, CashTech would look at bringing in the other products from KDS.

Mr Iyer said it was also looking at a reverse agreement where in the CashTech products would find its way to the Korean market.

Mr Iyer said the company has currently undertaken a case study for a client to integrate the RTGS (real time gross settlement) with the cash management solution being offered by CashTech.
