ICAI southern region chief

HYDERABAD: Mr J. Venkateswarlu, has been elected Chairman of Southern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for the year 2004-05 at the council meeting held here on Monday.

He will hold the office for one year. A practising Chartered Accountant at Hyderabad, Mr Venkateswarlu is the member of SIRC and served as Secretary during 2002-03 and Vice-Chairman in 2003-04, according to a press release.
