A farmer takes his cows for grazing. There has been a substantial fall in domesticated animal wealth in the State. Hybrid variety cattleheads dropped by 10.73 per cent and the local species by 29.94 per cent. The decline in the case of buffalo is 35 per cent and sheep 24 per cent, according to a paper presented at the All India Veterinary Congress recently.
