Our Correspondent

MADURAI: The Madurai District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association (Maditssia) is holding an Ideal Home Exhibition in the city from February 6 to 16.

Mr S. Anburajan, Chairman of the exhibition, speaking to media persons here said that about 250 stalls would be coming up. A special show on `renewable energy' is being organised with assistance from School of Energy, Madurai Kamaraj University and the Tamilnadu Energy Development Agency in order to create awareness among the public. Many solar-related equipments would be on display and women self-help groups would be involved in bringing about awareness on the use of solar energy.

Maditssia's Business Information Centre would be conducting two seminars, a quiz and six skill training programmes as part of the exhibition. City hospitals would be running their stalls and the public can avail free medical check-up, he added.
