TT Services to launch Visa support services for New Zealand

DRAWING upon its pioneering effort made in Visa support services to the US four years ago, TT Services, an associate company of the TTK Group, on Monday announced the launch of a similar service for the New Zealand Immigration Services (NZIS), the authorised body for issuing Visas for that country. The facility will commence from February 4, said Mr P. Varadan, Managing Director of TT Services.
Under the contract awarded by the NZIS, TT Services would cater to the needs of applicants of Visa by setting up collection centres in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai. The Centres would act as the intermediary for despatch and return of the processed Visa application to the individuals and the travel agents helping a large number of visitors to New Zealand.
Talking to mediapersons here, Mr P. Varadan said New Zealand has resorted to outsource the work in view of the growing demand from immigration services to New Zealand from India. Travel to New Zealand, which lately has been attracting film industry for shooting films, has grown at the rate of 350 per cent in the last four years. Besides, New Zealand has also been attracting a large number of tourists, and immigration from India seeking jobs.
While declining to give the revenue figures of the company, Mr Varadan, however, indicated the Visa support services would be contributing 10 per cent to the overall TTK group's over Rs 500 crore turnover.
The services will be provided at no additional cost to the applicants. The company would be earning revenue from the NZIS for the service on the basis of a fee on each application.
TT Services have handled about 7,00,000 passports for Visa procurement for USA and Germany so far and with the addition of New Zealand, the company sees a greater growth potential, Mr Varadan said.
