IA extends validity period of promotional offer

INDIAN Airlines has extended the validity period of its promotional fare scheme on the Chennai-Coimbatore-Chennai sector up to March 31.

In a communication, Mr G. Ramani Kumar, Area Marketing Manager, Indian Airlines, Coimbatore, said the promotional offer, launched with effect from December 29, 2003 was to end on January 31.

But, it has now been extended up to March 31 with journey to be completed on or before April 30. The one-way fare on the sector is Rs 2,715.

The decision of IA to extend its promotional offer has come in the wake of the imminent entry of Air Sahara to Coimbatore.

Air Sahara, which is launching its services from February 4, has announced a promotional offer on this sector valid up to February 29 with the fare being an identical Rs 2,715.
