UTI Bank upbeat on meeting targets

Wellington (Nilgiris) , Jan. 30

UTI Bank hoped to achieve all its business targets for the current fiscal and its net NPAs would be substantially lower than in last year, Mr S. Chatterjee, Executive Director, UTI Bank, has said.

He was speaking on the sidelines of the inauguration of its first branch (which will be the first new generation private sector bank) at Udhagamandalam. "UTI Bank is in an organic growth mode and will continue to be so. Given that we have a good business model we are not looking at acquisitions. We have over the years graduated into a mid-sized bank and expect over the next five years to evolve into a large-sized bank," he said.
