Investments in coastal Karnataka

MANGALORE: The Minister for Large and Medium-scale Industries, Mr R.V. Deshpande, has said that the State Government is making efforts to attract large investments to the coastal region for its development.

Addressing a Rotary conference here , he said the resources in the coastal region should be used for its economic development and the Government is working in this direction.

He urged Rotary clubs to involve themselves in the implementation of mid-day meal and Stree-Shakti programmes of the State Government.

The Governor of Rotary International District 3180, Mr Sooryaprakash Bhat, spoke on the occasion.
