Ashway unveils software for petrol pumps

Hyderabad , Dec. 23

ASHWAY Consulting, a Hyderabad-based software start-up, has announced the rollout of a software application that helps in automation and digitisation of petrol filling stations.

Called `FillMoney', it facilitates the manager of petrol pumps to monitor transactions across various applications, including a supermarket.

Speaking to newspersons, Mr Ashok Kumar Medisetti, CEO, said that the software covers accounting, tanker information, user permits, vendors, stock registrations of fuels and lubricants, credit or cash sales.

It also enables the station to track and build customer loyalty programmes, which distinguishes one station from another. While providing financial and account details and giving a overview of various functions in a petrol filing station, the software provides the facility to generate about 64 different forms and reports.

The software costs Rs 9,999 and the company is in talks with some oil companies for their endorsement.

"Once this happens, it is possible to reach out to many stations. Many such applications are being developed for other sectors too."
