Outsourcing Perot Systems plans to expand BPO unit's operations Our Bureau
Bangalore , Dec. 23 THE US-based Perot Systems wants its Indian BPO outfit, Vision Healthsource, to diversify into the investment banking and the insurance space even as the subsidiary is doubling its seat capacity by setting up another centre in Chennai. "Vision is the primary BPO set-up of Perot Systems and we are looking at growing it," said Mr David Cohen, Managing Director, Perot Systems Europe Ltd, even while ruling out the possibility of a merger between Vision Healthsource and HCL Perot Systems (HPS). Perot Systems acquired the stake of HCL Technologies in HPS on Monday for approximately $105 million in cash. "Given our strengths in the financial services domain, we would like to expand our BPO operations in investment banking and insurance," Mr Cohen added.
