SEBI bans Snowcem from capital market for 2 yrs

Mumbai , Dec. 10

THE Securities and Exchange Board of India has banned paint maker Snowcem India Ltd from accessing the capital market and dealing in securities for two years for manipulating its own share price with the help of some entities.

Passing the order, SEBI member, Mr A.K. Batra, said the company had blatantly violated SEBI norms and regulations and indulged in manipulative, fraudulent and deceptive dealings.
