Padam Cotton gets shareholders' nod for disposing assets

PADAM Cotton Yarns Ltd has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that its shareholders have given their consent, through postal ballot, to the board to sell, transfer and/or otherwise dispose of the whole or a substantial part of the company's assets with the infrastructure, facilities, utilities attached there to and/or any other idle assets in whole or part on a going concern basis or otherwise to any company, institution, firm or individual. A fire that occurred in the main building hosting the main plant and machinery had ravished these assets.
