Delhi to host Korean products exhibition

MARKING the 30th year of establishment of diplomatic ties with India, the Republic of Korea is holding the `Korean Hi-Tech Products Show - 2003' at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi during December 8 to 11.

"It's an exclusive platform to showcase Korea's best products," Mr Seok Kap Kang, Director-General of Korea Trade Centre (New Delhi), said.

In a presentation to the members of Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) on the upcoming event, he said the aim was to make the Indian businessmen to have a feel of the Korean industry.

About 100 small and medium companies from different sectors would present their products, which range from machine tools, kitchen appliances to computer peripherals.

According to Mr Seok, the bilateral trade between India and Korea would increase to $3.5 billion by the end of the current fiscal.
