Apollo Hospitals brings out CD on laparoscopic surgery

APOLLO Hospitals has prepared a compact disc on its laparoscopic surgeries to educate the medical fraternity.

The CD was prepared using Apollo's experience over the last five years in laparoscopic procedures on organs such as intestine and liver.

Apollo's press release said the CD would be given to all Government medical institutions.

A laparoscope is a thin tube that is inserted in the body to view the organ that needs to be treated.

In relation to traditional surgeries, laparoscopic surgeries improve recovery time after surgery and are less painful.
