Naidu promises help to SSIs

HYDERABAD: The Chief Minister, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, has promised to provide a conducive environment for facilitating technology tie-ups and market linkages. In a message to the gathering, which celebrated SSI Day here on Monday, he said the creation of such environment was vital for creating a vibrant small-scale sector.

Mr Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy, Minister for SSI and Employment Generation, has launched two schemes initiated by the State Finance Corporation. The schemes were aimed at offering financial support to set up export-oriented `industries service enterprises' and to start super bazaars.

Mr K. Vidyadher Rao, Minister for Major Industries, said the Government would address infrastructural problems in phases, a Government release said.
