Afro-Asian Games sponsors

HYDERABAD: Corporates led by Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), GVK Group and the State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) have announced Rs 1 crore each towards sponsorship of the First Afro-Asian Games-2003.

Several others such as Videocon, Sahara, Idea Cellular, ONGC, BPCL, Emirates have also announced contributions to sponsor several events, according to the Leisure Sports Management, which is taking care of the sponsorships.

Meanwhile the Apollo Eye Hospital at the Apollo Hospitals in Jubilee Hills has been designated for the eye care of the athletes participating in the games, a hospital release said.
