The number of luxury yachts that anchor along the Kochi coast is on the rise, especially after the Department of Tourism launched a campaign to promote boating habit among the upper crust of society. During the India International Boat Show in Kochi recently, a strong plea was made by experts in the field on the need for providing required infrastructural facilities such as marinas.
