Hyderabad , Oct. 15 ORACLE India on Wednesday announced the roll out and availability of Oracle Standard Edition One in India along with its global launch that seeks to address the database management needs for unique and yet challenging needs of small and medium-sized enterprises and departments of large enterprises. The Managing Director of Oracle India, Mr Shekhar Dasgupta, said to reach this out to a large untapped market, Oracle would consolidate its deployment partners, resellers and ISVs (independent software vendors. The database management solution could be scaled up as per their requirements as they grow there businesses, Mr Dasgupta stated. This single processor version of the Oracle Standard Edition database is offered at Rs 2,81,170.
