Seminar on investment in Kochi

KOCHI: A one-day seminar on `Investment and Trading in Government Securities and opening/operation of Gilt Accounts' is to be held on Saturday under the auspices of Federal Bank here at the Federal Towers.

Mr J. Sudhakaran, Secretary, Co-operation and Ports will inaugurate the function presided over by the Bank's Chairman Mr K.P. Padmakumar. The seminar will have 150 participants from Urban, Town Co-operative banks, PF, Pension trustees of various companies etc.

The participants will have an open forum for interaction. The bank has also made arrangements for participants to visit the Treasury Dealing Room of the bank in a bid to familiarise with the treasury operations.

Federal Bank has been in the foray of marketing government securities all over Kerala and the bank's treasury team are competent enough to impart knowledge about treasury operations, a release issued here said.
