NSSO certificates

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The certificates of excellence for best performers under various categories in the southern zone of the National Sample Survey Organisation (NSSO) for 2000-01 will be given away at a function to be held at the conference hall of the Science and Technology Museum here on Saturday.

An official said here that Mr M. Neelakantan, Additional Director-General, NSSO (FOD), would distribute the certificates at the function to be presided over by Mr G. Subramaniam, Director, SNNO (FOD), Southern Zone, Bangalore. The Director (Planning, Coordination and Training), NSSO (FOD), New Delhi, Mr S. N. Singh, will offer felicitations.

Besides individual award winners, heads of the respective sub-regional offices form the southern States of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, would be participating in the function.
