KOCHI: The Kochi Corporation is to organise adalats at all its zonal offices for clearing the building plan applications that may come up in the coming days.

The civic authorities had kept in pending a large number of applications for clearing the building plans following the Kerala High Court order staying the clearing of plans. However, the Supreme Court had struck down the High Court order. As many as 300 applications were pending with the civic authorities on which the statutory vetting had been completed by the officials. The officials also anticipate that least 1,000 applications would reach the corporation office in the coming days.
