People Dr Paul to head Virtusa centre Our Bureau
HYDERABAD: Virtusa Corporation, a US-based provider of software engineering services, has announced the appointment of Dr Santanu Paul as General Manager Operations of its Advanced Technology Center (ATC) in Hyderabad. Prior to joining Virtusa's India, Dr Santanu was in the US for 13 years and had recently joined the global leadership located in the US headquarters of Virtusa. He takes over from Mr Harsha Kumar, who will return to the US and head a US-based business unit after steering the company's operations for three years. The Chairman and CEO of Virtusa, Mr Kris Canekeratne, in a statement said "We are delighted to have Dr Santanu as our new GM Operations in Hyderabad. He brings a distinguished track record of managing and growing technology operations for over a decade. Virtusa currently has nearly 1,500 employees worldwide and we are looking to keep growing rapidly due to our highly differentiated value proposition and sophisticated engagement experience."
