People B.N. Singh is new Jindal Vijaynagar CEO Our Bureau
Mumbai , Oct. 6 DR B.N. Singh is joining Jindal Vijaynagar Steel Ltd as Joint Managing Director & CEO. He will takeover from Mr J.K. Tandon who will relocate to corporate office of Jindal South West at Mumbai. Prior to this, he was employed with LNM Group at their Algeria plant as Director General for over a year. Dr Singh is credited with the turnaround of the ailing Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd, Vizag, which he took over as Chairman & Managing Director in 1997. He has also spent over a decade with SAIL in varied assignments as ED (Works) IISCO Burnpur, ED (Incharge) VISL Bhadravati, Managing Director Rourkela Steel Plant and Director (Personnel). His stint of nearly 17 years with TISCO before joining SAIL gave him an opportunity to work in Research and Marketing.
