Lockout at HLL unit lifted

THE lockout in Hindustan Lever Ltd's (HLL) Garden Reach Factory has been lifted on September 30, the company informed stock exchanges.

The lifting of the lockout follows the separation of 150 contractors' labourers as per a tripartite settlement reached on September 26 between the management and three unions representing direct and contract labourers. The lockout was declared on March 22.
