Water No tunnel vision Shaju John
Workers of a construction group making a tunnel by boring through a hill in Kuruvilangadu near Kottayam in Kerala. The 1,500-metre tunnel project is a part of the Moovattupuzha Valley Irrigation Project. When completed, it could supply water to the farms in Ernakulam, Kottayam and Thrissur districts. The project is expected to be commissioned next year.
