HYDERABAD: The Tourism Department of Andhra Pradesh has announced a series of competitions to mark World Tourism Day on September 27.

In a press release here, the Department has invited entries in different categories, which include essay writing, slogan writing and photography. The topic for the essay writing competition is `My story of Andhra Pradesh' which seeks to explore the cultural and traditional heritage of the State that enhances the appeal of its tourist attractions.

The last date for receipt of entries is September 10.
