Telecommunications AirTel service in Dindigul Our Bureau
COIMBATORE: AirTel, one of the four mobile phone service providers in Tamil Nadu circle, has brought Dindigul under its cellular phone network from Friday, making it the 100th town covered by it in the circle (excluding Chennai city). The company hopes to extend its network to 30 more towns in the circle by September. According to Mr P. Swaminathan, CEO, Bharti Cellular Ltd, the company would focus on upgrading its infrastructure and in providing high quality service to the customers. Both pre-paid and post-paid services would be available to customers in Dindigul.
