Gujarat to follow AP model

HYDERABAD: Gujarat, which has recently taken up reforms in the power sector, is likely to implement many of the successful initiates undertaken by the power utilities in Andhra Pradesh in the areas of spot billing, citizens' charter, information technology and employee options process.

A team of technical and financial experts from Gujarat, which visited Andhra to study power sector reforms in the State, indicated this to Ms Rachel Chatterjee, Chairman and Managing Director of Transmission Corporation of AP, according to a press release.
