HYDERABAD: In a bid to enable its members and their kin with information technology tools, the Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Fapcci) has signed a memorandum of understanding with infotech major CMC Ltd. The agreement is expected to help members become computer literate, as well as make their kin acquire some basic computer skills, Mr Koteswara Rao, , President of Fapcci, said. CMC was represented by Mr S.K. Jhamb, Vice-President (Education and Training), at the signing of the MoU which is valid for one year and could be renewed. While offering a host of courses to FAPCCI members, the infotech major would also devise tailor-made courses to meet the specific needs of the corporate clientele. After training them in its authorised centres across the State, CMC would certify them. In the first batch, which begins on Monday, 15 Fapcci members will be trained. The alliance seeks to train 400 people in the first year.
