Hyderabad , July 16

MAGNAQUEST Solutions, the Hyderabad-based customer management and billing solutions provider, and the Taiwanese conditional access systems (CAS) company, Eastern Electronics, have announced a strategic partnership that will provide pay TV solutions in India and the Asia Pacific region.

The companies have completed integration of the EEC conditional access system with the MagnaQuest's MQSubscribe customer care and billing solution. MagnaQuest sees emerging potential in this space with the recent CAS implementation process unfolding towards a gradual and phased rollout.

Mr A.N. Vasan, Vice-President (Sales and Marketing) of MagnaQuest, in a statement said, "We are extremely pleased with the completion of the technical integration between our two systems. We now look forward to further expand out installation base with a well-known, secure and cost-effective CA solution from Eastern."

Both the companies are partnering to provide a integrated pay TV solution to Manthan Broadband Services, a leading MSO in Kolkata formed by nine cable operators to manage the cable TV business in and around Kolkata.

Mr Jerry Hor, President of Eastern Electronics Co, Taiwan, said, "Eastern is a highly secure CAS system operational in more than 12 countries."
