Software Kanbay India set to open Pune office Our Bureau
Pune , July 16 KANBAY International, a premier global systems integrator, has announced expansion of its operations in India and opening of its third facility in Pune to meet the growing customer demand in the US, Europe and throughout Asia. The new facility with an area of 62,967 sq. ft., located at Talawade, will house 550 software professionals. The expansion comes in the wake of new customer orders and the company's commitment to leverage Indian skill sets to augment its business, according to Mr Cyprian D'Souza, CEO, Kanbay India, and Chief People Office, Kanbay Inc. Kanbay International, with revenue totalling $83 million, has had its presence in India for more than 10 years. Last year, the company increased its strength at India development centre from 500 to 1,300 associates and planned to increase the total associate strength to 3,000 by 2005 of which 1,000 would be at the upcoming Bangalore facility.
