THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Government has notified the recast of the Minimum Wages Advisory Board.

The following will be members of the new board under Mr P. K. Gopalan (Wayanad) as Chairman.

Representatives of employers: Mr Babu Thomas (Hindustan Latex), Mr Ananthasubrahmaniayyer (Thrissur), Mr Dominic J. Mechery (Thiruvananthapuram), Mr T. M. Varghese (Kollam), Mr P. N. Vipinchandran (Palakkad), Mr W. A. Abdurahiman (Feroke), Mr P. A. M. Ebrahim (Ernakulam), Mr C. V. Kunhiraman (Kannur), Mr M. Prabhakaran (Azheekode), Mr V. R. Prasad (Cherthala), Mr K. Gopinathan Nair (Kollam), Mr Sabumohan (Thrissur), Mr D. Raghunath (Kochi), Mr K. C. Eapen (Cherthala) and Mr K. Kuriakose (Kochi).

Representatives of employees: Mr K. Surendran (Kannur), Mr Ben Morris (Kollam), Mr C. Kannan (Kannur), Mr N. Padmalochanan (Kollam), Mr K. Moosankutty (Tamarassery), Mr C. Divakaran (Thiruvananthapuram), Mr Kanam Rajendran (Kottayam), Mr T. M. Prabha (Kollam), Mr C. N. Krishnapillai (Tiruvalla), Mr S. Thiagarajan (Kollam), Mr K. K. Vijayakumar (Ernakulam), Mr A. Independent members: Mr P. K. Gopalan (Wayanad), State Labour Commissioner, Director-Industries and Commerce and Director-Economics and Statistics. The board will have a tenure of two years, a spokesman said here.
