Vineeta Rai is new Revenue Secy

NEW DELHI, May 23

Ms Vineeta Rai, a 1968 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the next Revenue Secretary.

Ms Rai will take over from the current Revenue Secretary, Mr C.S. Rao, who retires at the end of the month, an official release said.

Ms Rai is currently Secretary Banking and Insurance and will hold additional charge of the department till further orders.
