Private Banks Logistics - Railways Online rail ticketing from ICICI Bank Our Bureau
MUMBAI, May 22 IF you're an ICICI Bank account holder, here's some good news for you. The customers of the second largest bank in the country can now buy railway tickets online without the use of a credit card. The money for the tickets will be debited from the the customer's bank account. The service will be available through the Web site of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (www.irctc.co.in) , a PSU owned by the Ministry of Railways. The online railway ticket booking facility uses ICICI Bank's Internet banking service for the payment option, thereby permitting the bank's customers to pay through their bank accounts, according to a bank press release.
