Dumping duty on ammonium nitrate from Russia, Iran

NEW DELHI, April 17

THE Designated Authority in the Commerce Ministry has recommended the imposition of provisional anti-dumping duty on all imports of ammonium nitrate from Russia and Iran.

Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilisers Company Ltd (GNFC), National Fertilisers Ltd and Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd had filed the petition seeking anti-dumping probe on behalf of the domestic industry. Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers Ltd also supported the petition.
